About Five Nights at Freddy's 4

No cameras. No doors you can rely on easily. Just you, a flashlight, and the nightmares waiting in the dark.

The Story

The terror follows you home in this intense prequel set in 1983. Playing as a frightened child in your bedroom, you must defend against nightmarish versions of Freddy, Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and even worse creatures. There are no security cameras. Survival depends entirely on listening carefully and using your flashlight at the right moments.

How to Play

Desktop Recommended: This web port is designed for desktop PCs. Touch support on mobile devices is highly limited, so playing on a computer with a mouse and keyboard is strongly recommended for the best experience.

Listen for breathing sounds at the left and right bedroom doors. If you hear breathing, hold the door closed until footsteps retreat. Shine your flashlight down the hallway to check for threats or scare them away, but do not overuse it. Check the closet regularly and hold the doors shut if something is inside. Turn around and shine the light on your bed to ward off the Freddles before Nightmare Freddy appears. Heavy reliance on audio cues and precise timing. Extra nights and Nightmare mode add even more challenge.

Key Features

Pure sound-based horror, deeply atmospheric, emotional minigames, and a very personal feel.
